Birthday Style

This card was inspired by Maile Belles  and is being entered into CASE study challenge #143 and Simon Says....Anything Goes! (Click on the names for the links)

The inks used are Hero Arts butter bar, tide pool and pale tomato which I recently bought from SSS. I stamped the images first (a tip I've learnt from Maile that helps with placement) and then layered 2 of the balloons with die-cuts. I also stamped off the string first onto scrap paper (versafine smokey gray) so it was faded and then stamped the sentiment (versafine onyx black) over the top.
I've kept to Maile's CAS style of lots of white space and focused the image/sentiment to the bottom right of the card.

Thanks in advance for any wonderful comments.
Bye for now,
