Valentine card for husband

The fortnightly challenge with A Passion for Papertrey is Valentines. I started with simple sentiments choosing love you to stamp in versafine black ink. I then die cut the mat stack with the by the numbers die inside using my big shot onto pure poppy cardstock. I love this red! I selected you're the best from a Hero Arts stamp set and stamped it around the number 1.The heart was die cut from patterned paper and came from MFT homepun birdhouse dienamics. The mat stack and heart were adhered with foam pads to give the card dimension.
The background behind the mat stack was from the half and half stamp set stamped in antique linen distress ink onto vintage cream cardstock cut out and inked around the edges. The scroll points towards 'forever & always' as that was where I wanted the focus to be. I'm happy with the finished result.

  3. Oh, Victoria, this is SOOO COOL; may have to CASE this for my hubby, if you wouldn't mind!!! Very CLEVER!!! It won't be exact, of course, as I'll have to improvise on the stamps/dies a bit, but I LOVE the idea!!!
