Make It Monday #67: Step-it-Up: Mixing Patterned Papers

In this weeks MIM video Betsy Veldman demonstrates how to combine patterned papers with 3 levels of difficulty. I chose Level 2:Combining papers from same paper pack. I used the classic calico collection vol.2 from Studio Calico. Following Betsy's layout I layered the papers onto a standard A2 base. The left piece measures 4 x 2 and the right 4 x 31/4 and the middle banner 11/4 x 4. The sentiment is from fillable frames #4 along with the die cut matching frame. I used kraft cardstock and smokey gray versafine ink. I can remember Nichole combining kraft and grey ink before and liking this. I really like the classic look of this card. Sorry for the bad light, its dark now but I wanted to post!
