MIM#69-inspiration 2 sketch

One justification for my love of papercrafting is that I have enough supplies to not buy a shop bought card. I thought I had finished for this week and then looked at the calendar and realised that I know a lot of people with birthdays in June. So turned to another sketch from this week's MIM for inspiration. (I will not be defeated and buy a card from the shop!)

The base is aqua mist cardstock stamped with the matching ink in the hero arts envelope pattern stamp. The zipper uses kraft with white cardstock underneath. I cut spring moss cardstock with the turning a new leaf dies and some pearlised white card with the Beautiful Blooms 2 #3 dies.  I know the sketch is to the bottom right but I like the zipper die centred! The bottom of the card looked unbalanced so a row of rhinestones was added. The sentiments are from Movers and Shakers.

  1. Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving such a nice comment. This card is really nice. I love the zipper element and the sparkling bling row below it. This is a great sketch. I have to try this one.

  2. What a great design for a zipper card. And, good for you for not shopping for cards anymore. More money for PTI, right?

PS. Did you know you still have word verification on your comments? Taking me forever....
