Papertrey November Blog Hop Challenge

I chose the Great Expectations inspiration picture and as Nichole advised; paid attention to the layout & colour to create a unique project.
I loved the BBC drama adaptation of this story, Christmas 2011, with Gillian Anderson as Miss Haversham it was fantastic, unmissable viewing.

I made 2 cards. The second was after hearing my daughter's best friend passed her initial grade music exam with distinction. My children's primary school has a poster displayed with, "praise the young and they will flourish." These are words I strongly believe in;so the second card is for her.

I'm off to join the blog hop. Thanks for any wonderful comments. My husband has already told me black cards are odd!

Supplies used:
Cardstock: PTI true black, raspberry fizz (The second card used Morrison's black card as the base)
Dies:PTI alphabet (I made the arrow from the x)
Inks: Versafine onyx black
Stamps:PTI Simple Sentiments, Lawn Fawn Check This Out
Patterned papers: Classic Calico Vol 2 and 3

  1. Love the black background, it's not my go to card stock, but love how it really stands out. And I like that each letter is a different paper.
