Make It Monday #100: How to Package Cards with Oversized Embellishments- Thank you card

This card is for my wonderful mother and father-in-law to say thanks for the birthday money they sent me.

This is the envelope (I realised everyone else is including photo's of the oversized envelope too). It is an office supply, that heart border is long, so the extra touches were added to not make it so plain.

We have lots of snow! My children are coming home from school earlier than usual. I used the snow as an excuse to make this card instead of going to the gym. Bye for now. I expect it's snow-ball fights and snowmen building time soon.

Supplies used:
Cardstock: PTI dark chocolate,CraftworkCards pearlised pink
Inks: PTI fresh snow
Ribbon: Paperchase
Dies:  PTI Mat Stack 4, heart border die, Beautiful Blooms 2 #3
Patterned Paper: Craftwork Cards
Stamps: PTI Script Sentiments
Krylon gold leafing pen
Felt: PTI cream

  1. You can always hit the gym later, right, it's not going anywhere! Great job coordinating your envelope with your oversized card ... sure to make your friend's day!

  2. Wow--you are really going to town on these MIM. Your card is sweet, and I love what you did to dress up the envelope.

  3. I like how your banner is 'off the card', Victoria. Very pretty color combo too :)
