A blog named Hero Challenge #23: All That Glitters

I have a pretty summer dress with bold flowers and sequin centres and wanted to stamp a flower like this.  The Hero Arts stencil flower was perfect for this! I embossed the flower with white embossing powder and then coloured it with distress inks (using a blending tool). I was planning on a white background CAS style of card but I changed my plans and decided to layer it up (Betsy Veldman style).

I'm happy to report we had a beautiful, sunny bank holiday in the UK.  The BBQ was on and I had my first Pimms and lemonade (with lots of chopped strawberries) of the year. Thanks in advance for any wonderful comments. Have a wonderful week.

  1. This is just gorgeous. I love that big flower with those patterned papers. And, the sequins are the perfect center to the flower. I'd like a dress like that, too.
