Make It Monday #115: Beyond Paper with Impression Plates

I am absolutely in love with Papertrey Ink's Super Stars stamp set. I started with a 5" x 3.75" piece of cardstock then watercoloured the background and then spritzed it with Mr Huey's blizzard. The stars and wavy dotted line were stamped and embossed with wow clear multi sparkle embossing glitter and the sentiment with white embossing powder. I love all the sentiments and star images. This one could go to many of my friends as I'm not always good at keeping in touch!

I can't wait to make more cards with Super Stars. This week's MIM challenge was to emboss something other than paper/card. I die-cut the star and used the woodgrain embossing folder on Ranger's tape foil. I wasn't that impressed with the tape foil before but now I've used it on this card I can see myself using it again. It's good to be encouraged to try new things!

Bye for now,
Victoria

other supplies used:
Cardstock: PTI enchanted evening, crafters companion watercolour card
Inks: JB spice tin, DI broken china & tumbled glass

  1. I had thought of doing a star, and now that I see your card, I wish I had gone ahead and done a star! Your card is gorgeous! Love your watercoloured background, too !
