13th birthday card

After watching Betsy Veldman's MIM video I was inspired to make this card for one of my nephew's who will turning 13 this year.

Betsy embellished her fabulous card but I decided I'd leave it CAS.
shhhh! I should have been cleaning while the children are playing together. It is still hot, hot, hot around here.

Update: The royal baby has arrived and it's a boy. He is officially the Prince of Cambridge.

Thanks in advance for any wonderful comments.

  1. It's too hot for cleaning! Making beautiful cards is FAR more preferable! ;). I love how your card turned out! The bold, contrasting colours are perfect for a 13 yr. old boy!
