Simon says....back to school. I decided to get ready by making a card for a child on the Better Reading Programme. I volunteer to hear 1-2 readers for 15 mins each 3 x a week. Little and often! Each reader gets 10 weeks and although they can already read there are always ways to improve. I like to send them a card at the end because you really get to know a person this way and they've always been wonderful.
Lawn Fawn's Check This Out, stamp set is perfect for a book card. I also used the Hello Again, Carta Bella papers. The back of the card is blank at the moment as I don't know what message I'll add yet.
I just read Swallows and Amazons by Arthur Ransome. My daughter had watched the film at school and I realised I've never read that book. It was delightfully old fashioned.
Bye for now,
Victoria
Other supplies used:
Inks: Momento summer sky, PTI new leaf, HA butterbar
EK Success 1 3/8" circle punch
Sizzix Bigz Stars die
martha stewart score board (the back cardstock is scored then joined to the front)
