Nautical/monochromatic card

Simon Says....Monochromatic. I found myself playing along with a nautical card that was inspired by Maile Belles and W9plus stamps. Nautical cards have been very trendy this year.

The background is salty ocean distress paint swished across the card. The wooden anchor is by Studio Calico and the ink is Versafine deep lagoon.

I die cut a banner from PTI sketched shapes dies and attached it with the TH tiny attacher. This was to add the age with a stamp from PTI movers and shakers sentiments.

My nephew is lucky enough to live by the sea and is in the Sea Cadets so hopefully he'll like it. I recently found out he is not in the Scouts any more. Speaking of Scouts... Rhod Gilbert was funny last night - he was filmed while he became a Scout leader for a camp- in his own words he became the anti, anti scout! Which meant he'd didn't think he'd enjoy helping but did and although he didn't think he had any skills to offer it turns out he did.

Thanks in advance for any wonderful comments.
