dreams do. come. true

I won this wonderful sentiment stamp (very impressed with the quality) and couldn't wait to put it to use.

The background is made with distress inks, picked raspberry and mustard seed. I simply tapped them onto my craft mat added water and brushed them over watercolour cardstock. I then sprayed Mr Huey's blizzard over to blend and add shimmer. The sentiment is stamped in Versafine smokey gray and a few sequins finished it off. Strictly Come Dancing is back - it's sequin season!

I love that this sentiment could be used for so many occasions. I'm thinking graduation, getting your dream job, engagement, wedding, having children or anniversaries. I also think it paired well with the sunsetting/rising sky in this challenge. It's getting dark here much earlier now.

Thanks for any comments,

PS. Do you have Gabrielle's song in your head now? (Couldn't resist linking this too) I won the stamp by commenting which sentiment I'd like on a stamp (on the Neat and Tangled blog). Which I found when Joyce was Guest Designer on there. I said, "Lovin' you is easy cause your beautiful," and the other song I really like is, "Why do birds suddenly appear, every time you are near, just like me they long to be close to you." I was randomly selected to win the prize - yay!
