Make it Monday #147: Multi-layer Images from a Single Stamp

Hope you had a wonderful Christmas. After watching Betsy's MIM video I remembered a card where I had stamped a star in different ink colours and then layered them. I changed it using different sentiments and playing around with the layout but still kept it simple.

These are going to be Valentine's cards for my children ( its always nice to get a card on that day).

My favourite song at the moment is How long will I love you? by Ellie Goulding.

Thanks in advance for any lovely comments.

supplies used all Papertrey Ink unless stated
Inks: Summer Sunrise, Raspberry Fizz, Hawaiian Shores, Limeaid Ice, Orange Zest and Versafine Onyx Black
Stamps: Super Stars

  1. Love the colors - your children will love it! I need to dig out this set... :)

  2. So pretty - love the tails on your stars!

  3. These are so fun. I especially love the colors you chose for your 2nd card. And, the trailing sentiments look wonderful.

  4. Oh my goodness what a fun card! Don't think I know the song, but love the stars with the stamped sentiments .

  5. Two beautiful cards. I really like the 2nd one with those eye catching colors and the way the star is layered.

  6. Great cards Victoria - LOVE the colors of the second one!

  7. Yep, this is a good image to do the layering technique with! Love your curved sentiments too. So fun!
