layering die-cuts over a sentiment

After seeing Laura Bassen's video I had to give this a try.
This was my daughter's birthday card. Her birthday present was a surprise trip to Harry Potter studios. She was delighted. I' m not sure how many times my daughter has read the books and watched the films- it's alot!

It was amazing to see the detail in the sets and find out how the filming is done. When we got home we watched the second film again and found ourselves reflecting on the filming and sets. I thoroughly recommend a visit - if you're a Harry Potter fan you'll love it.

We bought Bertie Bott's every flavour beans and I thought that there wouldn't really be a vomit, earwax and bogey flavour but was wrong. After a couple I could take no more!

This is my go to quick card design so was perfect for Papertrey Ink's timed challenge.

Thanks for any comments,
Victoria

  1. Love this technique - perfectly executed! I know a few kids that will be extremely envious of your daughter's birthday surprise.
