For this weeks MIM challenge I made a DYI Cover Plate using the building blocks dies. Using the outside as a frame and the inside pieces to stamp and then place back into the frame.
There were some mistakes made along the way. I did attempt to stamp through the stencil but found it difficult to line up so abandoned that idea. I also tried washi tape to hold the dies in place but was annoyed when the tape pulled off some of the cardstock so just ran it through the machine in this second attempt and will live with the imperfection!
I added glossy accents to the heart (going to enter this into the high gloss blog hop too). It was fun to play around!
