This weeks MIM over on Nichole Heady's blog is to add texture on a one layer card without adding bulk.
The leaves were stamped with PTI simply chartreuse and then I washed over them with a waterbrush. The petals were stamped with HA butterbar but that didn't watercolour. I added PVA glue then salt to the centres (technique from last year's SAF) then Mister Huey's taxi was waterbrushed over to add the colour.
When I looked back at Nichole's card from the SAF she added stitching under the sentiment so I used my Tim Holtz ruler to add the holes with his pokey tool and then drew silver lines across.
Today is one of the best days of the year....Shrove Tuesday. I love pancakes with lemon and sugar on top. Guaranteed to make me smile!
