tic tac toe

This is my second entry for the Make the Day Special tic tac toe challenge (I really love the racoon). This time I took the stripes - die cuts- feminine row to make this card:
After die cutting some hearts I was left with the background heart and thought it was too pretty to throw away...it's propped up on foam squares with the cute racoon on top. Some of the die cut hearts were then added to form a cascade across the card.

I also wanted to try a swooshed background (a la Laura Bassen). I like the results but my husband doesn't!
He did appreciate the quiet while I copic coloured and fussy cut the racoons.

    Ahhh, darn you blogspot! First it posted my comment twice, so I deleted one, and it deleted both (unless I'm seeing double, haha) Anyways I was saying how cute this little raccoon is, I really need to get me some Mama Elephant stamps, they have the most adorable stamp images!

    Love both of these. That raccoon is adorable--way cuter than the actual ones in our back yard that are terrorizing my dog. Great coloring, too.
