MIM #228: pearlised blending

Okay, so I watched this weeks MIM tutorial and thought of a lovely sunshine. Went to my PTI hello sunshine set and realised I haven't stamped with it in so long I'd better watch Nichole Heady's you tube intro ....after that I had so many ideas in my head I may have forgotten the original brief! (ahem, sorry) However I like what I came up with so here it is:
In case you were wondering I stamped the centre guide then ink blended the rays using mask it paper (die cut from the hello sunshine dies) then I stamped the rays with versamark and brushed perfect pearls over the top. The sunlight was fading by this point and I opened the perfect pearls tub upside down splattering it everywhere! I'm more alert in the morning!!!!
I had no idea what to stamp for the sentiment so scattered a few stamp sets around. I liked Betsy Veldman's card with this sentiment so decided to go with that....I have no idea who the recipient will be! A few sequins and mounting with black fun foam onto a true black base and I was done. Its night time but I had fun so I'm posting!

Love
Victoria

  4. This is fabulous! I'm so sorry to hear about your mishap with the perfect pearls. That sounds like something I've done before with a re-inker... Talk about messy. I'm so glad no cards were harmed. ;o)

  13. Hi Victoria. Me again, Joyce. I can't seem to find your email, and I wanted to thank you for the beautiful card you sent me. You are so thoughtful, and it was such a wonderful surprise to find it in my mailbox. I, too, hope to meet you IRL one of these days. You know I am really close to Legoland and not too far from Disneyland either.
