After watching this weeks MIM tutorial I made this card:
The trunk is a cinnamon stick; it smells delicious, I don't have fabric strips so used ribbon. I cut a slit into the top of the cinnamon stick to add the shiny die cut star.
After an exciting weekend of Halloween on the Saturday and fireworks/funfair on the Sunday the countdown to Christmas is on! John Lewis released their beautiful Christmas ad- it's another tear jerker. Apparently the only factual part is that we will have a full moon on Christmas day.

ReplyDeleteMy comment showed up twice, so I deleted the second one, now neither appear?!? What it said was that I love your CAS ribbon tree!! Good idea to split up the cinnamon stick for the trunk ;)
DeleteSimply fabulous! I love the entire look! I was thinking of making smaller ones, on cinnamon sticks, as lapel pins, cute right? Love your creation!
