be YOU tiful

I saw Angie's be YOU tiful card and thought I've got to try that. The background was washed, with picked raspberry and mustard seed distress inks, onto watercolour paper. I taped the edges with washi tape onto the back of a piece of card this was to stop warping but I loved the way it frames the card too. It was then die cut using lovely layers die and mounted onto a soft stone cardbase. A few sequins and it's done!

Got to try and make more imperfect watercoloured washes like this as it is my favourite background. Concord and 9th have challenged us to show how we use their products for National Craft Month so I'm linking this to the right at home blog.
