This was my first time trying sponged stamping....it works really well. I used mustard seed and picked raspberry distress inks (I turn to these for techniques as my PTI inks are precious)and was surprised by how much softer they look and of course love that they blended.
The hello sunshine rays were stamped with my MISTI. I just turned the paper each time and loved how much easier this makes stamping. You might recognise the card design it's from Nichole in 2012. I made a card like this before but to my dismay it didn't stand up in the easel fold so I've learnt now a side fold stands perfectly.
It's funny but when I made the card I realised how much better I've got at crafting. As they say practise makes perfect! A few more tools help too!!
I enjoyed watching Goodnight Mister Tom at the theatre last weekend. It made me cry a lot (at one point I was thinking can things get any worse?) but there was also a positive message in the relationships that helped to heal.
