After watching this weeks Papertrey Ink MIM video I looked at my supplies and was drawn to the mistletoe stamp. I don't have the matching dies so after stamping I cut out the image with scissors (dies are so much easier!) and inked the edges with antique linen (as Melissa did) and then added distress stickles (working with supplies I have). I stamped the image onto the card and then generation stamped it again to add dimension.
I love the one liners dies especially the word 'joy'.
The fiddliest part of making this card was the hole punched mistletoe berries I used a glue stick to adhere 3 together as I knew glossy accents would go everywhere and my tacky glue has blocked itself!
I like the fact that I would never have made this card if I hadn't played around with Melissa's tips and style. I enjoyed this challenge.
I'm also entering this into Simon Says Wednesday Challenge blog where this week Simon Says...Christmas/happy holiday!
Thanks for any kind comments.
